How do I become an OHN?

If you are an RN registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario you can apply for any Occupational Health Nursing position. However, it would be to your benefit to have some educational courses behind you.

We suggest that you read the section About Us in detail to learn more about Occupational Health Nursing. Programs offered via distance education are also included in this list on the last page. Please contact each College or University of interest directly. Also under the Education & Events and select Other Events & Courses where you will find other educational programs offered to help you prepare for Occupational Health Nursing including one that offers a comprehensive overview of the specialty.
